Pet Sitter - Mornings, Evenings, Holidays (with some middays)
Lucy Goo Pet Sitting is looking for dependable pet sitters with availability primarily in the mornings and evenings, with occasional midday visits. Holiday availability is important, especially during our busiest travel periods, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Lucy Goo Pet Sitting is looking for experienced, reliable pet sitters to care for our clients' dogs and cats in their homes.
This is a great position for someone who loves animals and is looking for flexible, part-time work.
Most assignments include morning visits (typically 7–9 AM) and evening visits (typically 7–9 PM), with some midday visits around 12–2 PM. Visits may include feeding, playtime, litter box care, medications, and dog walks as part of the pet's normal routine.
This is a flexible, sporadic position rather than a set weekly schedule. Some weeks may be busier than others. Sitters who want to earn more can build up their schedules by accepting additional pet-sitting assignments as they become available.
Because our clients live throughout our service area, reliable transportation and a willingness to drive to different client homes are essential.
What You'll Do
As a Lucy Goo pet sitter, you'll visit clients' homes and provide personalized care based on each pet's individual routine and needs.
A typical visit may include:
- Walking and exercising dogs
- Feeding dogs and cats and providing fresh water
- Giving treats and medications according to client instructions
- Playing with dogs and cats and providing plenty of affection and attention
- Scooping litter boxes and sweeping the surrounding area
- Picking up and properly disposing of pet waste
- Washing or tidying food and water bowls as needed
- Cleaning up minor pet messes
- Making sure pets are comfortable, happy, and secure before leaving
- Following detailed instructions for each pet and household
- Checking in and out of visits through our pet-sitting app
- Sending clients a thoughtful visit report and photos after each visit
And yes—playing, cuddling, belly rubs, sitting on the floor with the pets, and giving them lots of love are all part of the job!

- Able to recognize when a pet's behavior, appetite, appearance, or routine seems unusual
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of different breeds, personalities, ages, and sizes
- Comfortable getting down on the floor to play and interact with pets
- Able to walk, bend, reach, and handle active dogs
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
Availability
We are especially looking for people with availability during:
- Mornings
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays
Pet sitting is busiest when our clients are traveling, which means weekend and holiday availability is an important part of this position.
Reliability is essential. Once you are scheduled to care for a pet, that animal is depending on you.
Transportation & Technology Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A reliable vehicle
- A dependable backup transportation plan
- A smartphone with reliable service
- The ability to use our pet-sitting app to review instructions, GPS check in/out, upload photos, and send visit reports
